Indigenous isolated peoples are entraped! | #IsoladosEmRisco

Autor: Instituto Socioambiental - ISA

Deep within the forest, isolated indigenous peoples are entraped by deforestation, the opening of roads, hydroelectric plants, illegal mining, land grabbing, timber theft and epidemics, such as the #Covid19. There are 121 records of indigenous peoples in voluntary isolation in Brasil, 29 of which are confirmed. In common, the constant threats. Some know of our civilization, but simply do not wish to be a part of it. Therefore, we need to demand from the State the guarantee of voluntary isolation, a right of the isolated peoples. Their extermination is also the extermination of our forests, our humanity and our future.
