Stay, there will be forest

Expedition brings together 120 people from all over Brazil to see innovative initiatives of forest restoration in the headwaters of the Xingu river basin, in Mato Grosso (Brazil).

More than a thousand kilometers have been traveled in the northwest of Mato Grosso by indigenous people, family farmers, farmers, researchers, representatives of government, companies and third sector organizations. The participants of the 3rd Ecological Restoration and Xingu Seeds Network expedition were able to know the paths of the seeds: from the collection in indigenous villages, rural settlements and cities, to the final destination, the restored forests in properties in the region.
