#ConsultationXingu | Indigenous people from Xingu fight for their right to be heard

The indigenous people from the Xingu Indigenous Territory (MT) demand their right to an Informed, Previous and Free Consultation process to be respected. 8 thousand people from 16 different peoples keep almost 3 million hectares of forest standing. With their land more and more threatened by deforestation, the advancement of infrastructure works and farming, they fight for their Consultation Protocol to be considered about any decison that impacts their lives.
